THE CODE AND READINGS

Emma will be appearing on the fourth episode of the new CBS drama The Code as the guest star role of Amanda! The episode was directed by Steve Adelson.

She recently appeared in the Yale Drama Prize reading of God Said This in the Claire Tow Theater at Lincoln Center reprising her role of Sophie. God Said This is written by Leah Nanako Winkler and the reading was directed by Morgan Gould.

She also played the lead role of Emi in a developmental reading of Leah Nanako Winkler’s new play Hot Asian Doctor Husband at the Actors’ Fund in NYC for Theater Mu in Minneapolis, MN. The reading was directed by Seonjae Kim.

Emma has booked the Guest-Star role of CLAIRE on CBS' ELEMENTARY (Episode 7.05, Directed by Christine Moore) and the Co-Star role of LAWAN on CBS' MADAM SECRETARY (Episode 5.05, Directed by Rob Greenlea.)

THE ASSISTANT TO MS. HEIGL'S ASSISTANT

Emma will be appearing as the lead role "Ally" in a reading of The Assistant to Ms. Heigl's Assistant by Tom Ruprecht on Monday July 16th at 7:30 as part of the WGAE's Pilots Resurrected at the New York Television Festival. She will appear alongside Emma Myles playing "Nicole" and Steve Waltien playing "Matt."

JUNE NEWS

Emma wrapped shooting a supporting role in THE HILL, a feature length independent film at the beginning of the month. 

She appeared in a BLOODWORKS reading of Mara Nelson-Greenberg's new play THE SANFORD MONTHLY at Ensemble Studio Theater.

She also worked on Samantha Chanse's new play FRUITING BODIES at New Dramatists.

She also officially joined SAG-AFTRA!

INSTINCT

Catch Emma as Charlotte Stanfield in the 12th episode of the new CBS series INSTINCT, led by Alan Cumming and Bojana Novakovic. The episode was directed by Ed Ornelas.

The series premiere of INSTINCT will air on March 18th 8/7c.

Summer Readings!

Emma appeared in Atlantic Theater Co's ASIAN AMERICAN MIXFEST, reading the new play LEGS by Leah Nanako Winkler as the Mermaid.

She also appeared in Leah's GOD SAID THIS reading at 2nd Generation as Sophie, a reading of Paul Cameron Hardy's new play as Spider-Swinger, and Because of Mud by Corinne Donly as Roberta, both at Clubbed Thumb.

The Spring Fling: Rebound!

Emma was thrilled to participate in F* It Club's annual SPRING FLING in Leah Nanako Winkler's short play RODMAN. Here's a shoutout from Popdust.com!

SUNDANCE LAB READING

Emma is thrilled to be participating in a reading of the feature film STAY AWAKE, written and directed by Jamie Sisley, a Sundance Institute 2017 Writer's Lab fellow, as part of the Sundance Institute's Screenplay Readings of Works in Progress. She will appear in the reading alongside Owen Campbell, Kathryn Erbe, and David Corensweat.
